im sideing with dan on this one!

:iagree: And the fact that you told him to "Hop off" this thread when he was trying to help is also rude. you should be welcoming constructive criticism rather than not facing the truth...

What everyone else said supporting dan +1.

I don't know exactly what was said but everybody's been new at one point and have always made mistakes. Theres no need to go posting face palm pictures and insulting people for not knowing what they're doing. How would you feel if you were new and posted something online and got bashed for it? Maybe he bought the oscar and got info from petco or walmart.. you never know

I admit i lost patience with the thread before i had even posted heres the disney version of what i meant to say:

Hey mate, what would really help us and you, is:
Tank size in gal or dimension, filtration ie mechanical, bio, blah blah, and most importantly water params???
Alot "fish keepers" that end up on here are wanting to medicate a fish that is suffering from neglect, lack of knowledge rather disease.

To the original poster.

I asked this about 5 pages back, what are the nitrates at?

Ammonia was stated as being 0, and op told us what he was doing as far as water changes were concerned.

Nitrates may be built up, have you water testing and let us know so we can help you.

On a side note, asking someone to "hop off" "your" thread, on a public forum, is laughable. Being a tough guy wont get you very far

Everyone else: chill

those who are trying to be helpful thanks
the oscar is doing fine

he`s back to his normal ways even thought sometimes he still splashes water

btw someone was wondering his size
he`s 13.5 inches..and very healthy
i got him when he was about 1 inch

thanks for those who took there time and tried to help me out
i appreciate that

Its been asked and disrespectfully ignored. :banhim::banhim::banhim:

hahaha, funny thread but in all seriousness......what is a 13.5 inch fish doing in a 12 inch wide tank? it's probably jumping out because it's the only way it can turn around

yeah.. that tank is way to small for a 13.5 inch Oscar... =(

but good luck with him in the future.. hope he is well
