Thanks! He has recently earned his name; Scarface, because at night he has decided to hunt the tiger barbs, and through this has gotten himself a great scar right across his face (as well as a few others). Some pretty hardcore battle scars
i have had mine for about 6 weeks now and he has at least doubled in size to about 3" now, i have noticed that when im getting ready for feeds he changes colour. he is a really quite dark green with the red pattern to very pale while eating. after feeds he hides away and comes out dark again.

I didn't read the whole thread. But, my little 2" o that I got at 2" grew to over 5" and its been 2 months. But, he eats like a small child. Lol so he pigs out and beats everyone else to the food. Lmao he's a total pig!

Mini hikari cichlid gold. They make a smaller one as well. But, oscars have some big mouths! Don't worry about it being to big unless its larger than its head. Lol
