Oscar HELP PLEASE!!

ok well last week we were cleaning our whole 50 gallon so we put the 3 oscar in a 10 gallon, i went some wheres tuesday and got home friday, my dad did the tanks , when we oput the oscars but in the smallest one about 3 inched got torn up bad, i havent been seening him eat and i walked by the tank few mins ago hes flipping :( what can i do???? please help

3 oscars in a 55g is too much, 3 oscars in a 10g is like putting 3 angry cats in a small crate carrier.

quarantine that oscar and get it some melafix. you might be able to save it.

and you need a bigger tank for Oscars. I had 2 Oscars in my 55g and they were way too cramped, they've been perfect in my 125g now though.

and why were you emptying the tank to clean it? a gravel vac should take care of that and you cna do a 50% wc.
 
doesn't really matter, small right now, will grow to 10-12" at a year old. so in another 6-7months.

also 3-5" in ridiculous even temporarily in a 10g.


get that small on quarantined and then start looking for a larger tank.

btw my 125 has 2 oscars in it, no other fish, just them. any more and the agression and stress start to show.
 
ok got the small one away from others, really dont any money for a bigger tank right now plus i wouldnt know where to start...
