Yea they made me pay for him $15 which is sad and what's even worse is that they let him get like that.. that's the reason i got him tho was to try and save him... but i'm sad to say that he didn't make it he passed away yesterday..

you should write a review of that pet store on yahoo or something. I cannot believe they actually charged money for a fish in such horrific condition.

I hope you saved the body and took it right back to the LFS, or are planning to do so . . . they should never have charged to for that fish (it should not even have been for sale), but they sure as hell ought to give you your money back
either way, let them know that it was not acceptable to have sold it to you, and if they give you a hard time, let them know you'll never shop their again (you probably shouldn't shop their again anyway)

unlucky there, it looked to me as if it was too far gone to save it. i agree just take it back nd get it sorted, Good luck.

Yea i took it back, they tried to blame it on my water. Ha! he was only in there one day, looked like that when i got him and there is no way that my water could have done that to him, not in one day. And i tested my water it's fine. But anyway, yea i got my money back and am supposed to go there monday to talk to the manager.. hopefully they will admit their mistake and start paying more attention to their fish, but i doubt it.
