I've never had a constipated oscar. How do you even tell? Mine gorges himself until he's unbelievably fat (he's just little, so I feed him all he wants, usually). Then by morning he's back to looking underfed. I can't figure out if he has a massive poo at night, or if he just turns it all into size!

Ohh trust me you know when she usually pops out something the diameter of a pencil then all of a sudden she is pooping stuff that is as big as my pointer finger and she's at the bottom of the tank in her mood.
you should really stop feeding it for a while if you havent allready, that should clear the problem up. Thats honestly the best advice i could give, and it came straight out of a book solely about oscars.
Yeah I cut her feeding back and that seems to be helping also she has started to eat pellets finally.
