Oscar id???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Black? Maybe blue? I wouldn't bother as much with prepared ornaments, but maybe some rock or wood? I'd say a definite no to live plants as they would be very hard to maintain in an Oscar tank, but if you're wanting some artificial plants then you might be able to get away with a few.

Not so sure about lemon Oscar, but maybe a lutino. I'm pretty sure they're not albinos.
You own a oscar now?

look like lutino to me, also appears they will be quite red, at least the last pic one.

Any other experts suggestions. Still my Oscars are shy but now they are readily taking their feed. I just noticed in my lutino Oscars that stomach region looks like inverted U shape (looks like nothing in his stomach) but takes feed not as good as my tiger oscar.

Some snaps on my little ones!!! Posts your opinion on this thread. Thanks guys.

Ya mate... Right now they have no fear and they know only one thing that's food lol... Little beasts actually...

First 2 are lutino tiger Oscar, and last 2 are lutino red Oscar. Any black or grey fin/body coloration automatically makes it a lutino type Oscar.
I thought the last one is an albino oscar since I could not see any black or grey markings
