Oscar Jumped Out of Tank

I think it had to do with the part with the way I grabbed him. I placed one hand on top and the other on bottom then touched my fingers together. I had a good grip on him so I'm sure it's the pressure that got me........
 
I know alot of people tend to raise Oscars alone because they're afraid of them killing their tank mates. But in most cases, especially my Tiger Oscars case, its not always true. My Tiger lives with about 15 other fish. He's about 10 inches and has tank mates that he can swallow without even trying. But he dosn't. I raised him to eat pellots and at one point all my fish in the tank were the same size. In other words. They grew up together. He's not easy to startle because there is constant activity in the tank. Maybe this is why ur Oscar scares so easy. Ya shoulda raised him with tank mates.
