where can I get one? is it a African, SA, CA? Ive never heard of them and I dont think they have them at any petstore around me, unless maybe a petco does? what size tank do they need? could I put that in my 55?

They're South American. Smaller than an Oscar, you could keep it in a 55.

Do you want or like oscars? If so get a canister, two HOB's and clean the tank once a week. A 70 gallon should be okay. I have one in my 75 gallon.

Not only do oscars get large, they also grow pretty quickly. An oscar should be able to live for a while in a 4 foot tank. However a width on only 13" will make it cramped pretty quickly.

A severum is not a bad choice, because they do not grow nearly as quickly.

I want and love oscars especially the tigers. however the severum kinda resmebles it too. the severum wont eat my other fish will it? and I have a fluval U4 and another hangon filter in the back for a 60g
