Oscar names?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't have a suggestion for a name but I will say that that Oscar is really, really white. Looks pretty cool. I know young Oscars often look much different than how they do as adults but I've never seen one that white. I picked up a young Oscar a month ago that is all yellow with black spots on it's tail so I like the oddballs. Some would say the off colors and spots mean it's low quality but I think it can look good
With the proper care any fish can be a beauty!

he is beautiful very nice pick

Water change, water change, water change did I mention water change......
They are a big fat lazy fish so no strong currents. Toni still has a time of it getting thru the current that AC110s make.

Pick a good staple food, Toni had Hikiri gold till she went to the Carnisticks. And varied treats. Mealworms, bloodworns, brine shrimp, crickets, freezedried krill. Did I mention water change?

Thru all of it I think it was my steadfast water change schedule that helped the most. When she was small it was 50% or fin level every three days. As she got bigger it changed to every other, and at the end there it was 50% every day. Now that she is in the 125 I moved back to every other day 50%.

I’ve got the water change covered. Usually fin level every week. I give my cichlids hikari gold and earthworms, spiders, grasshoppers (they’re everywhere) and guppies that I’ve been breeding for food also.
