Oscar Not eating >_>

Well i know what the answer is starve him till he eats pellets so i did still would'nt eat after 4 weeks so i gave him some blood worms well jsut then i did and hes like timid to eat.
He is eating it but just eats and swims back behind his plants then gets some more and does same thing as if timid.
I took out his rocks becasue he kept cutting him self with them and replaced with plants but it did'nt bother him also it started when i started dosing him with melafix.
I am thinking i that maybe melafix changed the taste of the food and now he is a bit timid of that taste O_o i have no idea whats gonig on oscar is have more troubles yet agin >_> .
I am not sure what to do at this rate probly stave to death since he hardly eaten at all just a matter of time longest he never gone without eating and first time rejecting frozen food thiking tommrrow i might big out his fav thing which is beefheart if he rejects that somethings wrong or maybe this is linked with HITH but why all of a sudden should HITH effect his eating since HITH is healing anyway i don't know what to do maybe i should buy some more plants ? .

As i type this he came out and ate some more bloodworms maybe try pellets again tonight or tommrrow but any other idea would help but i think something with taste melafix maybe affected it so yea is it possible melafix can affect taste.

Sounds like he is stressed to the moon. I'm not sure what melafix is but how big is the oscar and in what size tank? Have you checked water parameters? When was the last time a vacuum and water change was done? Basic questions I know but something is making him unhappy. What are his tank mates? Are they eating?

I keep forgetting to post detials for members that don't know oscar lol xD well i clean tank 3 times a week diet is pellets hikari gold forzen is bloodworms brine shrimp beef heart (treat) and special cichlid frozen is varied.

60G tank oscar is around 30cm width hmm around 19 no tank mates water parmaters don't know <_< have to get test thing agian also had him for a year he is a bit mental hence name Loco ^_^ .

I've only read about it myself. It's supposed to make the food taste better. I'll try and look it up.

Yea looking right now only thing i am wondering is the garlic is it something speical from LFS or just normal garlic don't see how it works but i am still looking
