OSCAR OMG FAST!!

My lfs is selling 10 babie tiger oscars with AMAZING COLOR for very very cheap

they are smaller than 2" and im getting 7 for only 5$ they are keeping them in a live plant tank and look so damn sexy!

but i have a freaking 6" red oscar who is very nice but i think he might kill them!

WHAT SHOULD I DO!!:cry:

i was thinking of getting a arowana but after seeing these ill wait a year till they are big enoug to handle a arow
 
My tank is only 120 gallons but its extra wide for a 120g there are alota live plants and im trying to find a Very large peice of driftwood for extra hideing but i cant.

Im upgrading to a 240 gallon in 10 months though..

i think they will be fine as long as they hide when needed. :)

Arowanas are much more enjoyable IMO and when you get your big tank you will want one:)
I would anyway lol
 
If you saw these tiger oscar IMO and you looked at an asn arowana you would be like wtf and shoot yourself lol.. these fish are makeing me like have a panic attack im worried some ones gona go there when they open and buy them :(.... ARGH

im gona hold off on the arow untill i get my big tank
 
I dont care if the oscar shat gold, I'd get the asain aro lol..........thats a weak comparison LOL
 
well asns are not allowed in fl :( so id have to get the oscar. Ill post pics tomorrow when i get them :)

agreed!! unless in fact it really shat gold

If you buy 7 of them like you say in ten months you will have 7 huge fish with good feeding 10" and up and you said you already have another bigger oscar. That makes eight eating, pooping machines, and probably agression between them. I would get one if you really sweat them. Two oscars in my opinion is definately enough oscars for a 240.
 
this happens way too often!

someone comes in...asks for advise, gets it, and does what they want anyways!:screwy:

but get the oscars if you want them that bad....i cant see myself going ballistic for an oscar. theres so many more out there besides the reds and tigers, just people dont know about them yet, but they will, soon enough;)
