Id definitely say get something besides the Oscar. It will be the least aggressive cichlid in the tank with the Carpintis & festae and will make the mess of all other fish in the tank combined.

yeah thats what i was thinking, thanks for the advice i didnt know that about the cubans will probably stay away from then, how aggressive are the large eartheaters?

would a bahia red eartheater work they are pretty but i dont know about their temperaments

I have never kept them, but id guess not at all. I dont think their temperament is even the least bit aggressive, or if it is, is even close enough to what the carpintis or festae could dish out.

ok yeah was wondering because places i looked said aggressive but iv never read on here about someone having a problem having them with tankmates so would guess they weren't very

im kind of tempted to try out some green terrors so see if i can get one that would be good.....

yeah they do thats actually the page i was looking at before lol, thouht it would be a neat addition without having the size of the male festae lol, hopefully he will still have them when the weekend rolls around, i think they would make a nice addition and if it starts to be picked on too much i can just rehome him........or get another tank:naughty:

but if they are 7in already then it would be good because they will be bigger than the others when i put them in...

haha oh ok, though if its the green terror then it may pick on the others when i add them if its larger....... hmmmmmm.... decisions decisions lol though wc green terror im sure is GORGEOUS

wow yeah im really hoping to go by there this weekend to see what all he has:drool::popcorn:
