I say that you should get some silver dollars there not as messy and they are very pretty.

OMG dont think of picking a silver dollar over an Oscar, its blasphemy, in my opinion the Tiger Oscar would blow any other fish away. Believe me if you get a silver dollar, you will be greatly dissatissfied, there is no fish with greater affection and character than an Oscar. Dont get the red though, get the Tiger its by far the most impressive.

I have some black bar silver dollars that can get to over a foot in size, and am soon to get a small tiger oscar, if you have room get both, both are very different fish in looks, personality. If you dont want much fighting get one oscar so they dont mate or fight for teritory. They will dig through the gravel and move it around still though.
