My mated pair of oscars do that all the time. They bicker like an old married couple; constantly sizing each other up arguing cichlid style (lock lips, toss each other around, side display). However, mine are terrible parents, they lay eggs on a plate I have in the tank, continue arguing the whole time and shoot all the eggs into the water. Yes I have taken the plate out before and raised up the babies, but I had a very hard time getting rid of 200 oscars so I just let nature take its course.

so you wouldn't bump the temp up? i bumped it up to 78 last night and they r acting no different well it is 3 am also lol. Let you know how they r acting later this afternoon.
