Oscar questions

You just have to keep in mind that Oscars can fair with most SA cichlids. So GT/Saums, Severums, JD, Acara. Geo can live peacefully for the most part.

I keep my O's with a Gold Saum, Jewel, Geo, Senegals, Plecos and Corys. They all get along fine. I just removed a FH and will soon be removing a Red Devil because he is getting a bit large and have a feeling he will be picking on these fish very soon.

Yeah I really like oscars, and I want to get more of them, I read so much conflicting info that it gets confusing. I just wanna make sure everyone can get along or as much as possible and swim happy

I would just say to keep in mind that Oscars are some pretty messy (and I mean really messy) eaters. They really need a lot of serious filtration.

I've always kept smaller cichlids (convicts) and plecos with my oscars to clean up their messes. they inhale food, and blow clouds of little chunks out of their gills. smaller fish and/or bottom feeders are a must.

as are a great filter and diligent maintenance.
