like i've said your fish your money do what you wish. you must be stretched out building a 300 something gal in one room and a 1000gal in another. i have never seen an inflatible top only pool. maybe it was my tiny 180gal tank that caused the issues i have seen. or the tiny 500gal others have had the same issues in. at least your amused...

Well i may be off on my guestimate of the size of the cat because he cant even fit the 4" red devil i tossed in there in his mouth but he is growing fast. My pool isnt inflatable not the walls anyway so he wont be chewing a whole in it before they go in the 1000 gallon tank im building in a different room in the basement. The concrete under the pool is sucking too much heat from it. Maybe the little 8" pacu did nip the big aro and make him jump, who knows lots of maybes. Ive had lots of pacu in my time and never seen them nip anything ever so who knows. Different fish do different things. Maybe the little dovii would kill a big peacock bass, lots of maybes, lots of opinions and ive never seen anything from any of my fish that you say youve seen. Even when i was video taping the pool to see the oscars spawn i didnt see any of what you have seen, who knows again lots of maybes. Maybe your fish you watched were cramped in a little itty bitty space, who knows lots of maybes. lol

now now just like in the rest of the world we have to cater to the "special needs and feelings of others". if we give them a verbal beating it still wont be as effective as the real thing. the fuzz look at it like it is the real thing though, even if they need it. i didnt even bother telling him that there is a gar on a death bed in the gar section right now, due to a pbass being extra greedy at feedings like, well i dont know EVERY pbass that ever lived or will. i also didnt bring up how african cichlids can breed in a beer can like convicts. i also didnt bring up the fact that ck breaching can spook gars and aros to their deaths. this one has all the facts and accuses others of having them.

in short i am starting to see the problem with america and its youth. this is a prime example of it. the decks used for their poker games consist of 51 cards at best.

You need to learn to read, my response was because of his azzholeish way of saying stuff. You dont need to post and be dumb you can post and say hey man you may need some changes but he didnt do that.

as that midas/RD matures it will get super aggressive and try to kill anything in the tank. .... but don't get me wrong, i really like RD/midas. .. rehome the other fish and just keep him solo style.

Cool i just bought a 55 yesterday to grow him out in for a bit. Guy i knew back years ago used to have one like 14"+ they are pretty cool fully grown.
