yeah that's a very odd shape...unless it's just the angle the pic was taken and possibly the way he was laying in the tank...if not, then yeah that poor guy is stunted. :( very nice of you to rescue him :)
 
And I would take him in all his stunted, sickly cuteness, but have no more room in my tanks.
 
Great job saving that poor fish! I hate to see that. It'll have a better life now than it had before. Post some follow-up pics after a few weeks of clean water and good food.

I saw that, it bugs me when people use street slang or text message short hand on the forum. I don't think some people realize they are precieved by others accoring to they way they present themselves and are not taken seriously as a result. Fooling around is one thing and once everyone knows you they know it's a joke, but if that's all they see then that's all anyone has to go by. I work outside alot in construction if I'm not being the boss in the office and wouldn't think about talking here like we do on the job site, I'd be banned in about 5 secs. Ok sorry, mini rant over.

You know, you're right. At work every third or fourth word is crafted to make the listener cringe, but in a forum like this I try to seem at least half-polite. Oh, the things my ears have heard...

I suppose it takes a certain level of competence to actually type in slang. For all I know the guy is a professional fish farmer who prefers not to waste time typing. :D
