thanks alot guys, this has been very helpful. I want to setup an additional tank and keep my 75 so I'll probably go with a 75 - 90 and do 1 O and 1 JD. Let me know what you think.

I was looking for a 90 but ran across a deal on a 75. Haven't gotten it yet because I wanted to be sure it would be alright for an oscar and a jack dempsey.
I think you'll be fine . . . and for the pleco, get a bristlenose; it won't get too big, but it won't get pushed around either . . .
will that go the same for any pleco that stays smaller? I have a bristlenose in another tank and I like my variety.
