Just moved my 2 eight inch Oscars into my 90 gallon tank 2 days ago. They get along very well and are the only fish in that tank. They seem to be just laying in the bottom of the tank. Almost as if they're sulking. Is this normal.

Total drama queens they are. I've seen them flop right over on their side.. Still eye-balling you with the one eye of course. If it lasted more than a week to 10days, I'd be concerned.

adult Oscars are big babies, they be fine, keep in mind 90g small for 2 Oscars, more of a good one Oscar tank. water changes well need to be twice a week, and while they are getting along fine now, as they get to full size this may change due to the small foot print of the tank.

They are acting normal again. No more sulking. I know it's a 90 gallon but I do 50% water changes 2 times a week. Plus I have 2 AC110s and a FX5 canister filtering it.

having more filters a good thing but does not lower bio load, x amount of ammonia = x amount of nitrate, I would be doing 90% twice a week. any ideal what your nitrate reading are before water change?
