Hey, I have a 112G tank, currently have 1x 6" Oscar, 2x Green Sev, 1x Firemouth.

Just added the Oscar yesterday, saved it from LFS where he/she was in a 2ft tank. I was in the LFS the day before and saved a Green Sev 5" also in v small tank.

Now their together and the Oscar is great, Sev is a very dark color?
So what would you add with O?

I would honestly say your stocked just fine atm if not pushing it once those guys grow in to full size. If I were to add anything to that combo it would be a few XL clown loaches, but deff no more big cichlids.

with my oscars ive had an aro, odoe, tt eel, bala sharks, angel fish, etc. but now i jsut have an aro, odoe and pbass lol

I was hoping at least two more cichlids? Then call it quits! I thought it was 1inch to 1 gallon?

Oh noooo..that rule is bad juju, going by that you could keep a full grown adult oscar in a 15 gallon (not even close). Everyone of those cichlids is going to get pretty big for that tank, and they like to have their own turf. This can cause deadly violence in the tank if there is too much of a territory dispute. Given this is allredy a likely possability also consider that all these fish put out a good ammount of waste. Enough waste that even with adiquate filtration your going to be doing 30% water changes 2x a week minimum by the time they are adults just to keep them healthy. They may not look huge now but they wont stay that way for very long, that oscar by himself is going to make that tank look small.

Okay well, its back to the drawing board. He'll have to go! I really, really want EBJD and a GT with the Sevs. Hows that and maybe 2x convicts?

well mayb a spiney eel of some kind like a peacock they r smaller then the others!

So you agree with Err? I just want an interesting tank with some large fish and colour thats it! I'm starting to think i need to redo my whole train of thought?

the EBJD will grow much slower than any of the other fish you have listed and tend to be more mellow then the normal JD so you may not want convicts with him

Okay, i can do without the Convicts the more i read about them it would seem that they'll just cause problems when their breeding. Sounds like they could even wipe out some of the biggest fish!
