hello AGIAN! ive been flipping threw so many fishes and want a oscar in 75 gallon but also want another fish thats a predaotr that can live full life with oscar. I wnat to raise them younger oscar idk 5-8 inch and the other fish depending on how fast he grows.
clown knifes are a no no! but bichirs seem cool but any other fish like bichirs or preds not another cichlid! that can live 75 gallons with a oscar?

There isn't a whole lot you could put with an oscar in such a small tank without having bioload and/or territorial issues. A single bichir (e.g. P. senegalus, delhezi or pamlas) might work.

I had an oscar and a bicher with some clown loaches in a 100g tank with no problem. They all kept to themselves pretty much. Most cichlids big enough to keep up with an oscar are going to be too big to pair up in that tank unless you have some hefty territorial decorations and good bio filtration. I have kept convicts with oscars before, but if its a breeding pair thats gonna be hard to manage in a 75 gallon...

well ive seen in a couple videos the plamas bichir and the 2 others you mentioned and they were fine in a frikin 85 gallon or sumthing and had 3 4-5 inch oscars. yeah i think it will work but il have to get them botha farely young oscar idk 5" to be safe idk a whats a good sized bichir to start off with the size oscar i mentioned?

scrath that tons of vids of oscars with bichirs but all of them have a bunch of other fish in as well in bigger tanks. the smallest i saw was 80 gallon with green terror convict 1 tiger oscar and palmas bichir. the palmas seems populare with these oscars and VERY active to my suprise atleast in the videos and so il try the match up but im getting them both younger as i like raising fish
