I want ny next stock to be Oscars! It will be a while, but when it happens I want to have some good ones! How many color variants are there? I've seen tiger, albino tiger, the orange and black (but not tiger stripes), gold ones, almost solid black ones, and ones with light back grounds and dark stripes. I also like the longer tinned ones! Post pics of your prize Oscars and tell me where you got them! Does rapps have good Oscars? I want young ones so I can raise them (that's half the fun for me is seeing them grow and change).

Florida is the land of the oscars in my opinion.

The albino and green are a pair.

The longfin is about 3 years old and was raised in a pond with several others before I bought him.

The high contrast Oscar is one I caught in the Everglades, far away from domestic Oscar contamination in her bloodlines. This pic was taken at the ACA convention 2012 after only a week in captivity.

I have a little longfin I got for $6.99 at Petsmart mixed with the regular albino oscars. Can't find the pic right now...
