can the aquarium temperature for a oscar be 78F?

and can I keep ONLY 1 oscar?
if not, can i mix the normal ones with the albinos?

78 is fine. They can be kept alone or with others depending on tank size.

There's no problem mixing the different color strains together. They are compatible with a long list of other cichlids as well.

They are compatible, but have been known to school showing preference to other oscars based on if the colors/type are the same as themselves.

how many can i fit in a 29, 40, and a 125gallon?
i mean just oscars, no other fish

None in the 29 and 40. But 1 or 2 in the 125. Make sure you have excellent filtration and anywhere from 75-81F is fine.

Agree with the others about the tank size issue. I currently have a TIger O, Lutino O, and a red O in my 125 but I am also doing 1 50% water change a week, and my tank filters around 13X my tank volume an hour.

Temp the oscars can live with. Consistent raising and care is what matters the most. Do some more research, and feel free to ask question ahead of time before buying the messy beasts.
