i dont know about the lip,
but if the pit on his head is not from a physical injury it could be from the water quality
oscars are very sensitive to developing pits from hormones/nitrates or lack of minerals in the water,
what size tank do you have
what are the nitrates at?
what is your water change Routine ?

You have a lot going on here. 1st the pimple on the chin is a normal thing they use it to clean the spawning site. 2nd the fighting n sparring is natures way of making sure only the strong reproduce the next generation IMO the2 that were squaring off is your pair!if they were mine I'd split them up, introduce 2 give them a week if nothing split em up n match a different pair up for a week. It might take several times. Daily water changes!provide some slate n cover part of tank for privacy. Drop your tank temp a couple degrees with the daily freshwater. I have more tips n tricks if these don't work. GL
You might want to consider not letting that female produce offspring, unless that deformed mouth is from an injury. Maybe you could use the fry as feeders, but to perpetuate faulty genes is a cardinal violation of fish breeding.
My oscar has kinda the same thing on his lip, not nearly that big though. I always thought it was from ramming the tank so much? i could be wrong
sorry for the bright pic, but tried gettin a pic of the bump on my oscars lip. not nearly as big and has been there for a year now id say. i dont think its serious..but yours looks a little different but i dunno
Its really funny everyone has the answers for the water Quility n hith. But no one has a clue bout the pimple come on people its natural its for cleaning their spawning site. All these oscar owners n not one person knows about this? Lol
