I've kinda wondered if he is wild caught, but i'm not very knowledgeable on it; hopefully someone will chime in!

He's a weird Oscar, colour changes like mad; has two nice eye spots on either side though

Is he about 5-6"? Pretty close to the size of my Oscar... Tank looks great!

they have their pro's and cons I think, look great, but the footprint is a little suspect, plus reaching the back is somewhat difficult with the 34 inch width lol.
I've got a Fluval 406 running, with a big sponge filter sitting at the very back of the tank
Maintenance is 33% change per week, and I tend to squeeze crap out of the sponges in the 406, every 3-4 weeks
