Oscar vs. Crown Knife????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You should do it. Ive kept oscars with a bgk, a clown knife, a royal clown knife, and an african knife at different times without any problems. Just get the knife bigger if you can. Which you are and those oscars will catch up to that knife pretty quickly lol so it should work
goodluck

i currently have my ck in with a butti and a aro. the butti initially beat up the ck to the point of his nickname became scar face. now that he has some size on him he does a great job keeping the butti on the run.

ummm...from what ive read, i dont hink that those oscars will ever catch up to a CK in growth if the oscars are smaller than the CK. after a year the oscar will be about 10-12" and my CK went from 4" to 13" in 4 months lol. it might just be my CK and the way i feed him. Also CK can get up to 2'+.

i wouldn't worry. I have 2 oscars with a clown knife and they get along fine. The o's learned quick to stay out of the way 'till the ck got his food first.;)

Its weird i have 2 tiger oscars and there the two biggest sapps in the tank i can pet them even and one of em only has 1 eye and the ck i have is always hiding in a big plant he rarely comes out at all even at night...

most of the clown knife will stay hidden with the lights on... i used to have one oscar and clown knife together... maybe you can provide a cave for the clown knife to retreat to... oscar will always swim in the open and doesn't usually bother the clown knife but it's another story when you switch off the light... this is when the clown knife comes out to feed...
