Oscar vs RD/Midas?

If you had to do a "wet pet" tank, only 1 fish, would it be an oscar or red devil/midas?

RD. the personalities are ridiculous, my devil knows when i walk into the room, she goes nuts, and she only does it for me, lol. and im not the only one who feeds her if you think thats why

How big a tank are we talkin ?

Out of those two DEF go with the RD/midas if you've got a larger tank 120+ then i would go with a black nasty or a trimac

I've got a 13" petsmart midas in a 60gallon who makes a great wetpet. I'd pick midas over oscar any day but giant gouramis make great wetpets if you've got the tankspace.

I'd say a f1 oscar or one of those oscars from china that are real red.

Never had a red Devil but I love my O!!! I like the tigers with lots of red over all the other varieties.

I'm also not a big fan of how RDs look. I saw a male Red Terror the other day at Big Als in TO. It is absolutely gorgeous. If I had 150 gals to dedicate I would stock it with a mating pair.

Picked an Oscar all 5 times and that's what I'd do again. Oscars just feel comfortable.
