Oscar with Hoplarcus psittacus

In a 570l.growing up,2 Eheim 2080,wc.70% every week,cleaning filters every 3 month,lot of floating plants to help with the filtrationthe oscars where 2 weeks in the tank before the Hoplarcus came in,working ok.now ,all the fish is wild caught,i know i must get away some of them,but now they are some 14,17,cm..

The true parrot may become aggressive once it mature. I use the word may loosely gl beautiful cichlid.
 
I have an Oscar and True Parrot together in a 240g. It's been about 6 months or so, and no issues between the two. The Parrot does seem more a bit more aggressive, as he is always chasing a Sev and EBA away..... but he never bothers the Oscar.

Very hit or miss on aggression. They tend to go after fish that may look like them like severums, chocolate cichlids, etc.

I had one go after a few geos and angels but no hard death chasing. Just wanted his territory
