i hope he starts eating i called big als they said to keep feeding him eventually the other fish will show him what to dosounds like stress/typical Oscar pouting. If hes active and not just sitting in the corner then I'd say its a good sign and that hes just getting used to the multiple moves in a short time. I would imagine that if this fish is healthy, eventually the eat or die dynamic will take effect, and he'll start housing pellets.
Hope he does ok for you, I've had oscars either thrive or die in the past; I strongly suspect a lot of wholesalers are affected by parasites, or poor genetics as mentioned above.
Unless he went for weeks without eating you should be okay for a little while. When my little buddy Copper went, it was after 3 weeks no eating. He showed no interest and actually started just laying on the bottom when it was meal time.
Tubifex or blood worms would be better at that size in my opinion maybe even small minnows if you have access to them from a good lfs
