Oscar won't eat

I never get into telling people what size tank they should have/need, but I do agree with duanes on 25% per week being way too small a WC. I do weekly 75% WC's in all my tanks no matter the size. The problem with doing anything less than 60% on a messy fish like and oscar, or on an overstocked tank, is you are always getting nitrate creep because you are never getting ahead of the nitrates. If the Nitrates are 40ppm and you do 25% you're knocking it down to 30ppm, but if in the next week it raises say 15ppm (45ppm at WC time) then at the next WC you're only taking it down to 34ppm, and that number just keeps increasing over time. If it were me I would go ahead and do a big 75% WC then wait 2-3 days without feeding, then do as some of the guys have suggest above with garlic and something meaty.
