Hey guys.. I have 3 tiger oscars that I got about 2 weeks ago... they were awsome for about a week and a half then started to be really dopy.. they just sit in the corner by the heater just panting alot just below the surface.. no visible sores/ skin fungas... i donno what to do.. any advice... water stats are perfect... just did a 40% water change.. with water conditioner

Get a liquid master kit if you dont have one, the dip sticks are crap...
did you cycle the tank before you put the fish in?

I had an Oscar pass away on me same symtoms as that! Mine had (hole in the head) dont know what the cause is but I think it was from over feeding and not enough filteration! Its a bacteria that grows inside them and stess them out! Mine went retarded (Jumping out of tank, swimming circles, acting half dead) He was stressed for a week then went retarded. I tryed to save him but it was to late!
they are babies they will get put in a much larger tank when they get bigger... i have cycled my tank.. an i have double checked my water stats... all work out fine... also check my amonia.. all perfect... the fish do however have long stringy white poo.. does that mean anything??
