I've had an Oscar with a TSNxRTC Hybrid and a Clarias

Thanks for your suggestions. Yesterday I bought two pictus cats, very beatiful creatures. what do you think of adding a Platydoras costatus? Not sure of the english common name but in sweden it is called chocolote catfish.

I have a 5 in four line pictus cat in with two Oscars (6-7 in) and the Oscars leave the cat fish alone.

you shouldn't have a problem whit that cat he only gets i believe 12-16" his mouth isn't nearly as wide either, groth rate of mine is pretty normal... RTC's on the other hand are another story all together.

yeah sure you could just find a catfish you like that doesn't get to big most are fine with oscars but if you ask anyone from the cichlid section they will te'll you 2 oscars in a 90 is over stocked but if you do big water changes you could get a catfish

I have a 5" Oscar and he is paired up with a Pictus that is about 3" and they get along really well. When the room is dark and I turn on the light, the Pictus is nestled right under the Oscar and the Oscar doesn't seem to mind. I wonder what they do in the dark. ;)

The only problem I have is feeding. I feed my Pictus sinking wafers and halfway down the tank, my Oscar gulps it down. So I have to feed the Oscar on one side of the tank and the Pictus at the other.
