I have my 125 gallon us, it has 2 oscars , 1 texas texas, and a Female Red Devil, would it be possible to get a school of 6+ giant danios in there?

how big are the fish in there right now? danios only get to 6" max, and kinda slow growers. might end up being food for the oscars as they will get to 10" in a year

9", you would have to buy some big danios. even though they are fast, oscars might eventually get to them.

should be ok, i use them all the time. you will probably lose a few, but danios are very inexpensive. try to buy them as large as possible so they have a better chance to stay out of harm's way. some floating cover helps also, maybe driftwood or plants. my danios breed after almost every big water change and some even survived and grew out in a 125 with jd's and a marble cat!

A small shoal of Giant danio's (5, 6 or 7 individual's), are an impressive display in anyone's opinion.
They are certainly speedy enough to stay out of harm's way, in particular avioding the friendly ol' Oscar. There's a fair chance your Red devil will take one here and there as the odd appertiser, but as mentioned, they are relativly inexpensive.

In my opinion the suggestion of some floating foliage is not a good one. These will simply hinder the Danio's effort's to escape a hungry cichlid. Leave them out.
