You'd think jumpers would be better at it... My O seems bad at it too. It could be parallax from the density difference that O's can't compensate for. They aren't exactly Archer fish after all.
Oscars are the funniest cichlids. who agrees with me? :D

I had a female Oscar that would go crazy when my dog came into the room. He was old and blind and he would wander over to his corner, and the Oscar would go crazy and start slamming into the tank glass. Meanwhile my poor dog would just go on sniffing, he couldnt even see or hear that there was this 14 inch beast inches away. No matter how many times she hit that glass, she kept trying, she wanted him out of her turf.
haha. Well I had a divider in my 55g to separate my oscar from my small 1.5" Jack dempsey and female convict. Somehow he managed to jump over the divider, and he was in this tiny section of the tank and the fish I thought he would definitely chow down were swimming next to him. And then he started freaking out because I took out the divider which I obviously didn't need.. 
Oscars are omnivores, and fairly gentle. Describing Oscars this way is like telling people your parakeet is similar to a Cassowary...
