Well, I was in here, on here last night when I heard a noise in the kitchen. I thought it was Carla getting a drink, went to say hi and no Carla. OK. A little bit later the noise was louder. I checked on the dogs looked around nothing. I then got to thinking about the fish. So I got a flashlight and was looking in the big tank and could'nt find an oscar. The other one was laying kinda flat up at the suface, Weird. About then I heard a noise underneath. OH Sh**, I took the front of the surround off, and sure enough, there he laid. I reached uder to pick him up and he freaked. As soon as he realized it was me he calmed down and i got him put back in. He sank towards the bottom, rolled his eyes at me as if to say thank you and caught his breath. Whew! This morning when I got up he was beegging for food. A couple scratches, but doing fine. The whole thing took maybe 5 minutes, poor guy!

Lucky catch. Good thing you were paying attention.

Yeah I had a pacu that I have no idea how he jumped out, there was only a 2 1/2" gap in the back and he was 4". So logically not possible, but he dissapeared, and I couldn't find him anywhere. Well when I moved and we moved the stand there was a perfect pacu mummy. Strange.

Oh wow that was a close call.. i am so glad thats all it was and he is forever thank full too ..i am sure!!:D
