Oscar's down lip has a tiny ball

it looks just like a callus on your finger, a tiny ball which looks like a tiny tiny callus on ur finger, how do i treat it? salt? what else besides raising temp.?? is a WHITE TINY CALLUS-LIKE BALL about .05 of 1"

You might wanna revise the thread because it was pointed out that it is more than likey a callus and is un treatable even if it were, it would happen all over again as long as you have a glass tank and a hungry oscar your gunna get it...

My Oscar has one. It grew pretty large at first but sems to have gone down after sometime. It's not completely gone but really not as noticable as before. I wouldn't be to worried about it.

cut it off with a razor blade, or use cold laser therapy on it. Saved my puffer fish...

it has not grown a lot today nor decreased either, what are the possibilities of lip fabrima angelfish get? i thought only angelfish get it but is green. can a fish callus also appear from hitting it self? my oscar is very skittish as he has acquired it from my female severum both are 6"
