Oscars- Feeding Bees & wasps?

i read an article, don't remember where or when, but it said that snake venom is very much like egg whites, it can be eaten safely, cooked or uncooked, but if injected into the bloodstream it's dangerous and possibly fatal.

now if that works the same way for insects i really don't know..

am i the only one who wouldn't hesitate to feed my fish bugs of all sorts?
i think fish will pretty much spit out anything they won't or don't want to eat... wouldn't the inside of a fish's mouth be too slippery for the stingers to do anything?
