Oscars getting beat up HELP

i just got a pair of Oscars and they are in the 75G with my Clown Knife, Black Ghost Knife, Arowana, Jaguar cichlid, 2 plecos, and 3 loaches....My Oscars are getting beaten up by the Jag and are very afraid of my arowana. The fins on the Oscars are torn up bad, how can i fix the torn fins.....Thanks

Remove Oscar from equation. Oscars are often labeled as aggressive when in fact they are more predatory than anything. Usually they are just looking for a quick meal and are often outmatched by truely aggressive cichlids like jags. Predation and aggression are very different behaviors and unfortunately are often lumped together

You have a lot more to fix then just fins. First get them out since you can see they are being brutalized. But I don't understand why you added more fish. What is the size of all the fish.

Even jds often make short work of Oscars without timely intervention. Some cichlids are predators, some are aggressive and some are both I.e. jags

That's quite lot of big fish (and big fish poop) for an average aquarium. I would advise you to get rid of some fish and go back to using your pool for swimming because that must be what you have them in. Hate to be that guy but dam

Of the fish listed only the Oscar is suitable for a 75 and single specimen at that. We all were probably in the same boat at one point so many awesome species so little space I know I was guilty of it too, but this site is a good reference and most know what they're talking about.

IMHO you need to get at least a 180 gallon aquarium to keep those fish.

Nothing wrong with being that guy. The only person that doesn't like that guy is guy with the over stocked tank.
