Oscars getting beat up HELP

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
there all babies
Even if they all are babies the Oscars will hit a foot by the end of this year so will the Arowana and Jag. They will be stunted possibly in that tank. Upgrade the oscars to a 125 for the pair and upgrade the arowana to a 180 or bigger.

I hope you can sell the oscars or have another tank for them. They are now weak and the fish know it. Soon they will kill them.

You simply need to remove oscars or divide the tank. But by dividing the tank you shorten the amount of time you can keep those fish that tank. Your time is already pretty short as is.

Hate to sound rude but have you actually researched any of the fish you have in that tank? Even a 180 isn't big enough for the arowana or clown knife long term, the two knife fish aren't usually recommended to be kept together, especially in such a small tank and the oscars and jaguar cichlid need a large tank if you don't want to have problems with aggression. The only way to fix it is to rehome almost all of your fish or upgrade to much larger tank.

That can take a very long time your fish will be more than a foot by then. I'm assuming it will take at least a year or so right?

Buy all those fish when the new tank is done none of the species listed are hard to find. Of course I don't know your time frame on this tank but I'd say within a year most will be dead die to bioload alone aggression not withstanding

I take back what I said. Dividing a 75 gallon is ridiculous. You need to set up another tank if you want to oscars to heal up.

always always always get the tank first, then the fish, life has a way fricking things up, that stock even for little guys is mad house of aggression and stress,

after a discussion with The Punisher and his research, i am convinced this is a troll thread.
