oscars mating???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You should send some up here...they are asking $12 an oscar these days. I cant even believe that. I remember paying $5 a fish when I bought my first oscars.

i also heard that the fish wipe out in flordia this past year wiped out a lot of oscars, thus price being a little higher, but that was hear say.

for any size?? only the baby ones are 8 bucks around here. i actually got mine at a pet/fish all of the above little local store, they did not look the best but was the largest size and now that i got them home and started feeding them some quality food (hikari) they look alot better.

Its normal for fighting and pairing. They okay with a common plec. I had 2 plecs in with my breeding pair. They were both okay. The O's will let them know if they get too close but I think you may have a while if you do in fact have a pair.

i have let the pleco know a few times when he was not in the right place, haha.

i actually have some snails in a bottle with holes, thinking the babies will go into the tank, do clean up, and i can remove the pleco (he dumps everywhere!!!!!) but i dont know how the snails are gonna work out
