Red tiger had to leave too....started bullying the albino...
Thinking about rescuing a red oscar which is currently in a 20 gallons tank. Saw the ad online, about 3inch, which would fit to my albino. But not sure for now. Still thinking about it...

Tank at night before lights out
Any suggestions on the setup? I think its fine for oscars.

Will follow your updates mate, I do love a good Oscar growing diary!! Looking good so far but Sad you had to get rid of 1. I started with 6 and now have 1 pair left. I will post a link to my oscar diary.

I visited the owner of the red Oscar... Oscar looks like he had hard times in the 20 gallons + he is way smaller than described (bout 2 inch)
I decided to take him, since I m planning on upgrading when I move away. Secondly I thought my Albino also had hard times, so somehow they fit together. No agression problems for now.
Hope I get him in shape

For now he won‘t win the price for the best looking oscar. But who knows, maybe he turns out sexy ?

Update 2 months later:
Both are growing well, scars of the albino completely healed up
