i aquired an oscar from a friend in exchange for two blood parrots my sister inlaw bought me , the oscar i was told was male and quite a bit larger than the one i allready had, they have been together for one week and gladly no real fights just the odd bicker , i was pleased that they got on so well knowing how it could have turned out , two days after being together the larger albino began digging in the corner of the tank eventually clearing quite a large area of bear base , then the two of them spent a lot of time cleaning the base . on friday night i was gobsmacked to see that they had spawned , the big albino suposedly male laying and my very young tiger doing the fertilising , they,re quite happy to be tending the eggs and are defending them but not overly aggressivly . its 24 hours since they spawned all the eggs are still there so i,m hoping they hatch , ive done quite a bit of reading and it appears theyve acheived something it can take years for an established pair to do. !!
