I recently noticed my oscars were showing signs of spawning due to their aggression and they dug a hole and cleaned off a flat rock. Because of this, I took out my pleco and JD because the pleco will eat the eggs and because the oscars were getting aggressive I took out the JD so she doesn't get hurt. Is there a way to encourage spawning? the JD and pleco are currently sharing a 20 gallon and I don't want to keep them in that tank too long. I raised the water temperature to 84 degrees because I heard that helps to encourage them, but is there any other way to encourage spawning?

The oscars are also doing all of the spawning rituals like always swimming next to each other and tail wagging and other stuff like that. Also, whenever i put my hands in the tank before for vacuuming the gravel or doing water changes, the oscars never minded and sometimes used to swim around my hands. Now, whenever my hands go into the water, they try to bite my fingers or they open their mouths wide as a sign of aggression
