I wanna make this pole so people will finally decide what a oscar needs for a tank when they are finished growing. So with that being said the poll options are 1: 55gal 2:75gal or 3:90gal. Ok everyone choose to help finish the descussion on this fish.

I'd say 125g because I like the extra buffer in water volume. But 90g ought to be okay for one Oscar all by its lonesome.

i put 90 (48x18x24 ?) for lack of a larger option but i know the general concensus here seems to be 75+, but a 5 footer is my personal limit.

I voted 75G since I assumed we were talking bare minimum for one fish. A 75G will work for a single O, but you'll need to w/c like crazy most likely when he starts getting big and fat.

I had a 55 as a grow out for my single Oscar and he DETROYED it even before getting close to fully grown, had to waterchange 50% almost everyday he was such a pig.

Well I put 55 cause thats what everyone says. And I put it to show how little people agree with it. And yea I should've put 90+ I wasnt thinking...

bigger is best. 55g shouldn't even be listed

Agreed unless it says grow out. However, since this is for a final one time tank, it definently should not be listed.

Shame on whoever voted for 55g...

I voted 90g because it was the biggest listed but like others have said 125+ is much better.

Agreed 110%
