Oscars/Tinfoils/Blood Parrot

i would have to measure the tank...I'm not sure but it's more long than high... lol
so the oscar swam free last night...the parrot seemed to be picking on him...acting funny...like digging holes and picking up much larger rocks than he used to...well not picking them up...but pushing them around....I am home for lunch and I noticed that the oscar is hiding behind a large rock in the back of the tank....doesnt see like he wants to come out... maybe he is still getting used to all the change...this oscar is about 8'' or so....and he used to be in a 30 gallon!!! now that's just nuts!!!!
 
i dont think my oscar is doing very well....the bp is really picking on him :(
I checked my water levels and nothing is wrong... he seems to be floating around the tank or hanging out at the bottom.....and where ever he is in the tank...he's more "heads up"
 
at 120g, it is probably 72"x18"x21"
 
fish are a little bit different from people.....you do the best u can......fortunately thats thre same as a child
 
Do you places in the tank where they can hide and call their own? That may help some of the aggression. I am surprised though that the BP is picking on the oscar. How big is the BP compared to the 8" oscar?
 
the oscar is almost twice the size of the bp..... way larger! so that's why I dont understand....I dont know...do you really think I have enough room for another BP? I told myself that I would never get one again....after I found out more info....how they are made...etc....
 
maybe I should do a bit more re-arranging.... there is really only 2 good hiding spots.....in some wood and behind the wood in the bushes....well taller plants lol
 
try what i did when my jag went crazy:screwy:.....i removed him from the tank <into a bucket>then totally rearranged the tank:naughty:,,,,,,,,,then left all the other fishes to sort themselves out,:nilly:kwick i need to find a top spot before jag gets back>,,adding lots of cave areas and hidie spots.....and three def territorys,,,,then after 2hours re added jag,hes clamed his turf and alls ok now...it worked well for me

you will see in the video"turf wars"but thats all it ever is open mouths now...
