I was at the LFS and feel in love with a blue Johanni...... so..I bought him and put him in my 125g with my Oscars.... so far only one of the Oscar's is chasing him a bit, but nothing really aggresive.... what do you think?

Also that's not a Johanni, it's a melanochromis chipokae. The chipokae gets bigger(7") and is a lot meaner than the johanni. It is possibly THE most aggressive mbuna species around.

Ditto, it might have a fighting chanse, but the oscars grow very quick and the mbuna might become a snack.

i would take it back before something happen.

Oscar's are about 4"...... same size.... do you think there might be a problem?

i wouldnt try to keep any Africans with Oscars...fail waiting to happen

i own one african, a johanni, and it lives in my 155 w/ an oscar, red devil, rd fh, cons and fms. the johanni beat the hell out of two gts and a jd but other then that he only messes with the plecos.
