Oscars???

How well will a gar(any type... suggestions?) do with my bichir tank???

I have many bichirs, 2 OSCARS, snakehead, BGK... help any?

I have two 8inch or so Oscars and a 14 and a 12 inch Florida gar. They literally don't even notice each other. They don't fight,chase,nibble, or anything to each other.The gars do their thing and the Oscars do their own thing.

True that.Their either sitting on the bottom chilling moving just their tails or their slowly and peacefully swimming without a care in their minds. Until you open the top and they start snapping for some shrimp.

don't really agree. oscars will eventually beat up the gar once they're large enough. with your stock you'll have to go with a huge tank/pond(at least 8x4 to diffuse aggression) and larger, more boisterous gars such as alligator, cuban or tropical

xander is right here guys. oscars or any type of cichlids are a big no no for gar. dont do it man.
