that would be cool thought the bichirs were really aggressive

oscars are just as if not more aggresive then the bichirs will be. depending on what kind of bichirs. but im pretty sure theyd get along decently. or try some type of cat .. something for the bottom

Eartheaters (Geophagus sp) are excellent with Oscars. I have great luck mixing the 2. They both ignored each other and the Geos clean clean clean the bottom. A bigger problem would be getting 2 Oscars that got along after sexual maturity (7-8"). You could go with 1 Oscar, some Geos, a catfish or fancy plec and some top fish like the Silver Dollars that get 6" or less.

i got a plec right this min i really want something around the bottom any thing else that work well with oscars

another tip. dont slack on filtration with oscars. .. trust me. doesnt work out in the end well. they are brutally messy eaters and the after result is no better then the eating mess

i got 2 big powerful externals on the tank i use to have a oscar but it didnt do to well i had it witht the wrong fish

Oscars are strange creatures. As long as they can't eat the roommate they "might" get along. Sometimes when you raise fish together they will be fine as long as the size is equal. Sometimes not. The Oscar is one of the most personable fish out there. IMO.
