yeah they are messy thats why i was thinking earth eaters to clean up.
so if i had earth eaters and plec maybe a bichirs on the bottom 1-2 oscars swimmimg mid to upper waters what else would you suggest for upper and mid water????? sevrums??

well i have decided to do couple of oscars, couple of earth eaters, couple of red hooks and there was a couple of others but forgot there names

i have two 2" tigers, they are great, you will love em if you get em

2" tiger what???? I was thinking a sevrum but I'm thinking that the oscars would prob beat them up. I just want a trouble free tank I'm fed up hving to remove certain fish so I am getting rid of my Midas and jags for oscars etc.

Any other suggestions would be great fish that will go with oscars and earth eaters

If you want a peaceful tank you might just get 1 Oscar. You've only got a 50/50 chance that 2 juvie Oscars will get along at maturity. If you get just 1 Oscar it's going to open up more options for tankmates. Oscars are easy to get tankmates for. It's not even true (I don't think) that they'll eat it if it fits in their mouth. If they can catch it, want to catch it and are hungry enough they might eat it. But I've commonly kept a variety of fish with my Oscars that supposedly break the rules as far as size and have never had a problem. The Eartheaters are a good choice but the Red Hooks are the Silver Dollars that get huge and need to be in schools-not your best bet.

I have 3 jack's & 3 convict's in with my o he is 13'' long. the rest are around 3-4 ''. i also have 2 dragon fish 6 '' long no problem's o my tank 185. 2 power head's 1 hob filter.

the red hooks were just a thought really just thinking some that will be swimming round there.
i was thinking convicts but will they beat up the earth eaters
