Here is a crappy shot of my 2 O's

The tiger was about 6 inches in December, when the 3 inch albino(ish) went in; They are now 8 months later about 10- & 8+ inches.

The pic is from a couple months ago, they were like 6 & 8.

The fuzz on them is the bad pic, nos signs of sickness :chillpill:

I feed mine Hikari Gold, JumboMin Food sticks, and the occassional earthworm.
They love the worms as treats about once a week.:cool-1:

From what i've heard

Beef heart is good but its more of a treat. Give em some like once/twice a week. I got some nice frozen food witch i make myself now. I get beef heart and blend it with some carrots and lettuce and pour it into ice cubes and feed em that. They love it. Black/Red worms are good to. I personally try to mix their diets from flakes, frozen food and live food.

Any one kno when Oscars and other americans start eating feeder fish???.

Whats a good size to start feeding them live food?

My oscars ate feeder guppies at 1 inch. feeders just need to fit in there mouth. I have Kenyi that eat guppies at 1 inch also.

the theory is.. if it fits, then its food.. lol

Oscars are kinda like goldfish in that they can are big and messy, they can have great "pet" qualities towards their owner but usally eat any fish that can fit in their mouth,
